Account and data deletion
Last updated: 2026-10-29
You can permanently delete your Hop Home account and the data associated with it. This page explains both options. If you never signed in with Google there is no account: your save exists only on your device (see the last section).
Option A — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Hop Home (the Android app, or the web version at hophome.pocket-games.app/play).
- Open Settings and go to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Sign in with Google again when asked: this confirms that it is you.
- Your cloud save and your account are deleted immediately, and the app signs you out.
Option B — Request deletion by email
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access it, send an email to:
Include in the message:
- The Google account email you used to sign in to Hop Home.
- A brief request such as: “Please delete my Hop Home account and all associated data.”
We will process the request within 30 days and reply when the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your cloud save on Firebase Firestore (
users/{uid}): email, display name, current world and trips home, tutorial status, Endless best scores, trophies, cosmetics bought, the "no ads" purchase status, coins, hearts, daily streaks and the sign-in and update times. - Your Firebase Authentication user (so the same Google account is treated as new at the next sign-in).
What is retained
- The save on your device: deleting the account does not touch the game on the phone or in the browser you are using, which stays as it is. To remove it too, use Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app (on the web, clear the site's data in your browser).
- Google Play purchase history: in-app purchases are recorded by Google Play under your Google account, not by us. We cannot delete that record. If you install the app again with the same Google account, Google Play may restore non-consumable purchases such as "Remove ads".
Crash logs (Firebase Crashlytics) and usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) of the Android app are not linked to your account and are deleted automatically when their retention period ends. Nothing beyond the points above is kept for your account.
Cancellazione account e dati
Ultimo aggiornamento: 2026-10-29
Opzione A — Elimina dall'interno dell'app (consigliato)
- Tocca Elimina account e conferma.
Opzione B — Richiesta via email
